From the Giraffe level, you get 8 hours of classes: 6 hours of lindy hop and 2 hours of solo. You can pick a different level in lindy hop and solo. If you attend the cub level, you get 6 hours of lindy hop.

Cub level: First Steps

You have never taken a swing class – or maybe just a couple tasters – but you wish to have learns the basics so you can enjoy the parties. This level is meant for you! Teachers from the Gon’a Swing association have prepared you a special Lindy Hop training program. Hear your inner dancer roar!

Giraffe level: Beginners

You have started to learn Lindy in september 2015, or maybe you wish to review and work on your basics. You know the fundamental steps and moves and have been to your first dance socials. You haven’t done any Charleston Solo yet, or just a few basics. This level is the right place for you to strengthen your skills and extend your dance vocabulary!

Rhino level: Intermediate

You have been dancing for more than a year and practice Lindy outside of class on a regular basis. You’re at ease with the basics and with some variations. You may already know a few tricks of Charleston Solo and the Shim Sham. This level will allow you to develop your dancing with new techniques and a deeper musicality.

Panther level: Intermediate-Advanced

You have been dancing for more than 2 years, and have already attended international workshops. You regularly dance in social events, and you know the basics of Lindy and Charleston through and through. You’re confortable soloing. This level is meant to provide you with new challenges and to polish your style.

Lion level: Advanced

You have been dancing for more than 3 years, and have already attended international workshops. You regularly dance in social events, and you are a hardcore dancer. You’re confortable soloing. This level is meant to provide you with new challenges and to polish your style.

King Lion: Advanced +

You feel very confident about your dancing. You regularly dance in social events, and you are a hardcore dancer. You attend international workshops and take part in the highest levels. You want to be challenged.
